I founded Rimskys-Horns in 1994 (Chamber of Commerce registration in 2012) because I enjoy nothing more than finding the right horn for every horn player, from beginner to professional. I have been working on this full-time since 2017. I have also been a horn consultant for Gebr. Alexander Mainz for many years.<br><br> I gained my first experiences as a horn player as a 9-year-old with the Royal Almelose Harmonie. And then I was sold: I wanted to become a musician. After the Conservatory in Enschede and The Hague, I obtained my DM diploma and UM diploma in Maastricht with Prof. Erich Penzel. This was followed by a study with Prof. G\u00fcnther H\u00f6gner in Vienna (former Solo horn player at the Vienna Philharmonic). I attended masterclasses with Hermann Baumann, Peter Damm, and William (Bill) Vermeulen (Solo Horn, Houston Symphony Orchestra).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2013, I obtained the Horn Maintenance &amp; Repair Certificate \u2013 Gebr.
